Job Duties:

The Software Engineer II will be responsible for the following duties:

(1) Identify requirements, design, modify, develop, write, and implement cloud software applications that are secure by design;

(2) Lead the implementation and maintenance of controls supporting SOC2 certification;

(3) Maintain and support various cloud infrastructure hosted in Microsoft Azure;

(4) Utilize innovative approaches to solve complex technical problems and apply advanced technical concepts and principles to develop products;

(5) Propose initiatives to improve development operations and procedures and provide technical and design guidance;

(6) Define the scope of technical projects, provide milestones and identify dependencies and development time estimates;

(7) Provide guidance and set expectations for monitoring cloud services; and

(8) Respond to production support requests and provide root cause analyses.

Telecommuting may be permitted, so long as the employee is based in the Danvers, MA region, as the employee must conduct regular visits to company offices in the Danvers, MA region.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

Employer requires candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a closely related field, and at least one (1) year of work experience developing software utilizing Angular, .NET Framework, C#, or SQL within a regulated environment.

Employer also requires the following:

1. Demonstrated ability working in a Cloud Based Environment such as Azure, AWS, or GCP gained through at least one (1) year of work experience;
2. Demonstrated knowledge of front-end web application architecture, such as Angular with ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core gained through at least one (1) year of work experience; and
3. Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Engineering Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including experience breaking down requirements into epics, user stories, and understanding key dependencies and risks that may arise gained through at least one (1) year of work experience.

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
