Reports to

You will be an integral part of Bitso Business, the infrastructure for the future of cross-border payments. In this role, you'll report directly to our visionary leaders, who are dedicated to pioneering the next wave of financial innovation. Your contributions will help shape the future of global finance, making a mark on the industry.

Who You Are 

• You are not just a coder, you can articulate your ideas clearly and effectively in English.
• You have spent 5+ years working with Java systems, and if you have experience with Java 21, that's a big plus!
• Good knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Spring.
• You have experience with Cloud Architectures (AWS), Microservices, and Distributed Systems.
• You have a solid grasp of software engineering principles, including coding, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability.
• Experience with asynchronous processing is a must, and if you know Kafka, you are ahead of the game.
• You are proficient with Relational Databases, especially PostgreSQL, and have experience with NoSQL databases like Redis.
• Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field sets you apart from the crowd.
