How you will make a difference:
- Help design, build, and maintain critical components used to construct Klaviyo’s frontend, across the whole product.
- Write documentation to improve component adoption.
- Work on foundational areas to help us internationalize Klaviyo, and make it more accessible and performant.
- The code you write will help empower tens of thousands of Klaviyo customers daily to gain more value from the platform.
- Your work will directly contribute to improving engineer velocity across the organization.
- Have 3-5+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3+ years experience working in React.
- Strong familiarity of vanilla JS, ES2015+ syntax, and the Javascript ecosystem as a whole.
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, and general web best practices.Excited to work on the foundational areas of the product, with an understanding that your work must be heavily tested throughout the application to ensure successful rollout
- Strong affinity for frontend usability, performance, and accessibility.
- Flexible working across teams.
- Highly collaborative and communicative.
- Experience with Typescript.
- Experience working with a large frontend application at scale.
- Experience collaborating with a design team or working with a design system.
- Experience contributing to or working directly on a component library.
