In this role you will:

• Design, implement, and deliver software features based on customer and user needs.
• Ensure software quality using personal reviews, team inspections, and testing.
• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled software engineers to build new products.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Ambition for learning to work in different layers of software, from low-level hardware control up through user interface development.
• Familiarity with functional programming.
• Experience programming in an unmanaged language.
• Excitement for learning unfamiliar technologies.
• Previous experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a willingness to learn and understand unfamiliar code.
• Experience in writing production-quality code in a language like C#, JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, or others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Note: Master's in a related field will be accepted in lieu of work experience.

Work Location:

This is a hybrid position based at our Indianapolis, IN location with the option of working remotely an average of 3 days per week.
