Software Engineer in Test II 
Job Location-New Delhi 

The Role:

We’re looking for an Automation Engineer to focus on developing tools for in-house QAs and maintain reports for them. This person would be required to work cross-functionally with all Chegg Learning Services product teams to ensure software quality from both a cost and technology perspective.

The Responsibilities :-

• Working with product QE’s to understand requirements

• Developing and maintaining tools for QE’s

• Work with engineering teams towards continuous quality improvement

• Debug test failures and scripts to identify flaws in the system

• Work alongside the testing team to report, manage, and resolve bugs in the

system

The Requirements:

•B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

•3+ years of experience in QA development

•Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and test-driven

development

•Good understanding of web apps • Good understanding of databases, SQL and

application servers

•Experience in developing APIs and/or testing using

•Experience with Python scripting / Linux Shell Scripting

•Experience on API testing / Postman

•BDD frameworks (Robot framework, Cucumber Framework)

•Proven ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, iterative product

definition and development environment.

•Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•CI Tools like Jenkins / Gitlab / or Codebuild

•Experience with SaaS environment and/or Cloud Services is a plus

•Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and React.js is a plus

•Experience in JS Testing Frameworks (like TestCafe, Cypress)
