As a part of our expansion, we are searching for a Software Engineer III to join us and work closely with a geographically distributed team across US, Mexico, UK and India. In this role, you will be deeply involved in the development, maintenance, testing and deployment of our industry leading enterprise grade workflow automation product, TAP.

As an integral member of a global engineering team, the responsibilities include development, fixing customer reported defects, unit and functional tests before deploying the high-quality releases to the production environment. The role requires working closely with other senior developers & test engineers, Support engineers, Services and Product Management functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve .Net web applications: This includes enhancements, fixing defects, implementing updates, and optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work with lead developers, testers, and stakeholders to understand needs and ensure successful enhancement and maintenance of the product.
  • Document software changes: Keep clear records of modifications and the reasoning behind them.
  • Participate in code refactoring projects: Help improve the codebase structure and maintainability through code refactoring initiatives.
  • Create and maintain unit and regression tests: Write automated tests to verify code functionality and prevent regression issues during updates.
  • Perform peer code reviews: Review code changes from other developers to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify and address security vulnerabilities: Help maintain the security of .Net applications by analyzing scanning tools outputs for potential threats and implementing security best practices.
  • Collaborate with Clients: This includes troubleshooting issues, providing verbal and written communication to Clients while addressing software issues.
  • Deliver high quality software: deliver and maintain software with high quality and low defect rate.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in a software development role with .Net based web applications.
  • Hands-on coding experience using a combination of the following:
    • C# coding, .NET Framework, (ASP.NET, MVC 5)
    • UI development โ€“ JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, BootStrap
    • Entity Framework or a similar ORM
    • Azure SQL Server
    • Web Services, REST API
    • Exposure to Automated Testing: NUnit or xUnit, Moq
  • Experience working with troubleshooting production code
  • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (scrum)
  • Excellent team player. A motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to reason logically and provide quick solutions
  • Work Hours: 8am - 5pm CST

Desired Skills:

  • Experience developing or maintaining Workflow Automation โ€˜low-codeโ€™/โ€™no-codeโ€™ software
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience with Authentication and Security Protocols (OAuth, SAML)
  • NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
  • Experience in developing web application that adheres to OWASP security standards
  • Exposure to use AI-related tools to assist in development (e.g. Github Copilot). Candidates who do not have this experience will receiving training

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
