Job Description
eduCLIMBER is an interactive system that integrates all whole child data into a single platform with built-in tools for intervention tracking, collaboration, effectiveness reporting, early warning, driving system-level improvement and more.Â
As an engineer on the eduCLIMBER team, you’ll work on a rapidly growing product that impacts over 3 million students in the US. Our team is highly collaborative and is continuously working to ensure eduCLIMBER is reliable, scalable and robust. Our tech stack includes VueJS, PHP, Python, MySQL, AWS and Linux.Â
As a Software Engineer III, you will:Â
- Work in close collaboration with Product Owners, UX Designers, API Engineers and other key stakeholders in expanding and enhancing the eduCLIMBER productÂ
- Build new frontend functionality using modern frameworks, components and techniquesÂ
- Collaborate with our API Engineering team to ensure API calls are efficient and well documentedÂ
- Participate in an on-call rotation to assist with operational support for our US customersÂ
Qualifications
For this role as a Software Engineer III, you must have:Â
- 3 years of experience developing frontend software using a mainstream JavaScript frameworkÂ
- Experience developing against REST or GraphQL APIsÂ
- Knowledge of various automated testing frameworksÂ
- Technical documentation and diagramming skillsÂ
- Strong CS fundamentals, solid knowledge of OOP/OODÂ
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in K-12 EdTechÂ
- Experience working with a cloud provider such as Amazon AWSÂ
- Experience working with continuous integration and deliveryÂ
- Experience working with Linux and DockerÂ
Additional Information

Salary Range: $75,600 to $136,800 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
