Position Summary

Caribou Thunder is seeking a talented Software Engineer III to join our team in an Agile environment. As a Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software and systems applications. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting research, and utilizing your expertise in software development to support the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System.

Complete Description

As a Software Engineer III, you will play a key role in the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software and systems applications.

Your expertise in logical and mathematical solutions will contribute to the success of projects supporting the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System.

• In this role, you will collaborate with equipment designers, hardware engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to conduct research and plan the development and utilization of electronic data processing systems.
• You will analyze system capabilities, determine user needs, and resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• As a Software Engineer III, you will also prepare operating instructions, design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems, and ensure that software standards are met.
• Utilize Agile methodology for software development.

Minimum Requirements

• Software analysis and design experience.
• Experience with C++ programming language.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with Agile Framework.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Methodology.
• Linux experience.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Fisheye Crucible, etc.).
• Experience with Git distributed version control system.
