Software Engineer III

• Engage with team members and customers to identify and understand user pain points, ensuring that all perspectives are considered in the design and development process.
• Ensure that UI designs follow best practices and principles of user-centered design, including accessibility, usability, and aesthetic consistency.
• Develop new user interfaces or modify existing components to enhance usability, ensuring that improvements align with user needs and business objectives.
• Manage and contribute to a confidential project, maintaining discretion and adhering to any privacy or security protocols as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working on customer-facing and/or internal tools, demonstrating a strong track record in front-end development and UI design.
• Proficiency in front-end development technologies and tools, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Webpack. Demonstrated ability to create responsive, interactive, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Proficiency in back-end development technologies, including Python, Flask, and Postgres. Ability to integrate front-end components with back-end services effectively.
• Proven ability to identify user pain points and translate them into practical, effective UI solutions. Experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Proven ability to produce well-documented and maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools, with experience in automating and streamlining development workflows.
• Familiarity with backend development and API integration, with experience in connecting front-end applications to back-end services.
