Requirements
Role operates autonomously on multiple systems’ development and maintenance activities.Â
- Gathers information, performs analysis, and elicits the details of user requirements with business users and/or IT Business System Analysts.
- Ability to complete design, documentation, development, testing, and debugging tasks working within a team.
- Skilled ability to work with architect to provide designs for key strategic business and system projects and/or enhancements.
- Support application software by fixing problems and making enhancements.
- Develop and implement business optimization projects and solutions including enhancements and upgrades.
- Works with others, provides feedback, coaching, mentoring, and guidance to less experienced.
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and project life cycle principles.
- Aptitude to understand the requirements for the enhancement or production issue.
- Aptitude to correlate downstream impacts for suggested system changes.
- Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and skills to meet project objectives.
- Knowledgeable in software development life cycle and project life cycle principles.
- Skilled in generating system documentation.
- Experience working in the Financial Services Industry, specifically as it relates to Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, and/or Retirement a plus.
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering related field, or equivalent experience
