As a senior Software Engineer at Data Management group of Enterprise Technology Division of JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for company-wide Cloud, Big Data, Access Management and Entitlement Services.
- Lead and Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver software and services.
- Implement best practices for data processing, storage, and access, leveraging cloud and big data technologies and frameworks, and utilize the cutting-edge modern popular services and solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure reliability and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud, big data, and data access entitlement services.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience (working with big data and cloud technologies)
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their associated services.
- Experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Familiarity with data access entitlement services and related security protocols.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
