Software Engineer III (Cloud / Enterprise)

We seek an experienced cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.

To be successful as a software engineer, you should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our clients and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. A top-notch software engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and should be a team player.

Responsibilities:  

• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Modify and improve existing systems.
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.

Required Qualifications: 

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
• 5+  years of experience in the field of software engineering/cloud computing.
• Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles.
• Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Typescript and writing code and scripts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $155,000 to $165,000.   

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
