Software Engineer, Infrastructure

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in building the tooling and infrastructure that powers our fast growing company. • Write runbooks that evolve into tooling, and tooling that evolves into self healing systems
• Find creative solutions to complex questions, such as testing hundreds of connectors in a short timeframe
• Simplify complex manual processes into a clear and opinionated path forward through tooling
• Make meaningful infrastructure design decisions to scale Airbyte
• Own the success of Airbyte!  (But like for real… we actually want to hear what you have to say)

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to understand how people are affected by the choices you make 
• Deep expertise with CI/CD systems, preferably Github Actions and Helm.
• Experience writing code in Java or python
• Intermediate level of experience with Gradle, Git and Docker
• A passion for continuous learning and improvement (both at a personal and team level)
• Belief in our values
