The Role:

As a Software Engineer on the Data Integrations team, you will build systems and tooling to make it easy for manufacturers to integrate their data into Oden. This data includes metrics, which are infinite, unbounded time-series collected by machines and sensors, production data including context that guides operations and makes metrics relatable to manufacturing objectives, user input from the operations teams, and outcome data that measures the effectiveness and quality of the production process. The goal of the integrations team is to build the best-in-class internal and external customer-facing tools, APIs and data pipelines that gather all of this heterogeneous data in a robust and scalable manner such that Oden's AI and ML algorithms can provide meaningful insights to our customers.

The tools we use for this include:

• Go, Python and Java
• PostgreSQL and column-oriented analytical databases
• Open-source cloud infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Apache Beam, and Apache Airflow, deployed in GCP
• GraphQL, gRPC, and REST

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong CS fundamentals with proficiency in one or more languages such as Go, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with code generation and/or developing external client libraries
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
