Software Engineer Intern

Xealth is looking to add a Software Engineer Intern to our team for the summer of 2022. This will be a remote position. 

Xealth’s mission is to improve healthcare for everyone by enabling doctors and patients to easily access digital content and services that are relevant, timely, and targeted. We are disrupting healthcare from the inside and are on a mission to change people's lives through technology.  We created the world’s first digital health content clearing-house, and it’s now helping doctors, physician assistants, etc, to prescribe digital health options that enable people to lead healthier lives. 

There is more to be done to help our customers meet the needs of their patients.  Come help us build the cloud based, scalable and secured platform with responsive web applications, recommendation engines, and analytical solutions to help clinicians throughout the US to respond proactively to their patients’ health challenges.

As a Software Engineer Intern at Xealth, you will:

• Enjoy working across the full-stack development (UI, APIs, DB, Analysis) using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js
• Work in a Scrum team / agile environment implementing functionality across the product stack delivering company-wide impact 
• Develop efficient, scalable cloud-native applications with test driven approach
• Make a real, positive difference in other people's lives through your work

Our ideal Software Engineer will be:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Experienced with at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/C# or equivalent
• Experienced with algorithms, data structures, software design, operating systems, and/or strong CS fundamentals
• Able to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience committing code to opensource projects, interesting/curious personal projects
• Prior commercial cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• SaaS or Enterprise Software Development experience as an intern in a B2B, B2C, B2B2C, or Healthcare company including:
• Backend Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript) 
• NoSQL database experiences such as MongoDb
• Frontend development experience with ReactJS framework, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
