Software Engineer Intern - Rose Hulman Program

Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of senior living technology, helping connect the spectrum of healthcare in order to improve the lives of millions of seniors!

As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll work on a team of engineers and architects to design solutions to solve real problems our customers experience and make a meaningful difference. You'll have an opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced software engineers and collaborate with the team to bring designs to life while growing your craftsmanship skills with modern technologies.

Competencies & Skills Needed:

What You'll Do and Impact:

• Design and build software for current business projects
• Work in an agile team environment to complete projects
• Build tools to support mission critical I/T systems
• Work with other CIS departments to improve operational performance
• Find and fix bugs in released software
• Own the technical details of specific software
• Research new technologies
• Work on innovative solutions for business problems
• Work with other Software Engineers to develop a better understanding of software technologies

Experience:

• Enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering degree program
• Demonstrated basic software development skills
• Ability to work full time during the summer and possibly 20 hours/week during the school year
