Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Software/Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing Mission Solutions team!

This effort provides a critical role in our nation's defense by bringing together intelligence-backed, medium to high fidelity threat system models developed across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise into an integrated wargame simulation environment. Parsons has supported this program for ten years, with an established team and customer relationships. Because the need for accurate and integrated modeling, simulation and analysis continues to grow we are expanding our team to adapt to new challenges.

As a Software Engineering Intern you will work the a team of software developers to develop new APIs, tools and software tests. The opportunity will include meeting regularly with other teams to get a broader perspective on our products while working on achievable task that will benefit our customer.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
• Experience writing software in C++ and/or Python
• Good communication skills
• U.S Citizen with the interest and ability to obtain a security clearance

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with version control software, particularly Git, GitLab or similar environments

Salary Range:

$20.38 - $35.67
