Role and Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, solves problems, debugs, evaluates, modifies, deploys, and documents software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end user applications
• This position will be part of the Security Platform Engineering team.
• Involved in the design, development, and maintenance of data protection solutions using Java and related technologies.
• This is a hands-on engineering role.
• Designing and coding of cryptographic libraries and APIs using Java and related frameworks
• Maintaining internal and external facing documentation, and ensuring the documentation is regularly updated to reflect product updates.
• Ability to perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Experience with and understanding of Agile practices.
• Provide consultation and development support to internal application teams.
• Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals.
• Influence team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking.
• Accountable for team completing work you are doing as agreed upon.
• Accountable to team for delivery of quality work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of working with Java and Java Frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Relational or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge and experience with Cryptographic libraries
• Experience working with Golang or Node.js
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present on technical topics, write technical white papers and user guides
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent assignments with strong attention to details.
• Experience with building REST APIs

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
