Software Engineer - Java Full Stack Developer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be part of CUSIP team and will be responsible for analysis, design, architecture, development, and testing of wide range of world leading products using various innovative tools and technologies.

•  Analyze user requirements & Participate in multiple software development processes including Coding, Testing, and De-bugging & Documentation

• Create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions for our clients and customer base

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications and software solutions using Java and J2EE technologies

• Work on new initiatives and support existing CUSIP applications

• Perform Application & System Performance tuning and troubleshoot performance issues

• Write and maintain technical documentation for future references

• Contribute to ensuring high-quality product delivery by performing code reviews and integration testing

• Effectively interacting and coordinating with different teams like QA, BA and all business stakeholders

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 2-4 years of IT experience in application development and support

• Strong Experience with Java, J2EE, Java Multithreading & Design Patterns

• Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring (Boot, MVC, Cloud), Hibernate, and Restful services

• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle & SQL, PL/SQL programming

• Experience with Hibernate or other OR-mapping technologies is a must

• Have hands-on Experience in UI-related frameworks like EXT JS, React, JQuery

• An in-depth understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Experience in AWS cloud services

• Security awareness with experience in using tools like Fortify for SVA/DVA scans and remediation

• Knowledge & experience with C#, Python is plus

• Experience using system tools, source control systems, utilities, and third-party products

• Experience working with Linux/Unix, Perl and/or shell scripts

• Have good knowledge of agile best practices and methodologies

• Experience with test-driven / behavior-driven development using automated testing tools like junit, mockito, RestAssured etc. is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.

• A keen problem-solver with strong technical and analysis skills.

• A thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures

• Ability to work both independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Java/AWS technologies

• Familiar with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GIT actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify

• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
