We are a team of young and like-minded engineers with both internal and public facing Java/React applications that we actively develop and support.
The team's current focus is on modernization of legacy Retirement Experience applications and building in new functionality for future releases. We also have multiple internal facing Retirement applications that are constantly being enhanced to provide a better and more streamlined experience for our advisors.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Daily scrum meetings to discuss progress/blockers.
  • Bi-weekly sprint planning.
  • Ensuring maximum test coverage for all code changes.
  • Drive excellence by example.
  • Work closely with the product design team on new features/functionality.

This role requires a variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Experience with building APIs - RESTful APIs, Web Services, Spring Boot using Java 8-11 and writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito, and performance testing using Blazemeter.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Version Control tools (BitBucket, Git)
  • Web development experience using React 16+ (hooks, function components, context), JS/TS, Axios, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Storybook and ADA testing.
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
