When we welcome you aboard we’ll introduce you to the Engineering Team and Product Teams. These are the people you’ll work closely with day-to-day.

Once you get settled in and learn more about the team, your day to day activities as a full time, Software Engineer - JavaScript (React) will look something like this: 

• Implement high quality code in an agile, test driven development environment
• Gradual refactoring of legacy code and updated gems and libs as required
• Review exception reports to identify and fix bugs
• Assist customer support teams with escalated tickets
• Development of new features
• Maintenance of existing features
• Collaboration with cross-functional, agile teams
• Contributions of ideas to improve the product

• 3+ years of experience in building frontend applications
• Proven, demonstrable knowledge of standards-compliant, responsive, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript
• Proficient in React, Redux, Webpack
• 1+ years of experience in GraphQL and REST API
• Experience with version control system like git
• Experience with project management tool like Jira
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on attitude 
• Experience working in an entrepreneurial/startup environment
• Experience working with remote teams

Nice to have:

1. Experience with optimizing web performance
2. Hands on experience with Heroku or other cloud computing providers
3. Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD)
4. Have a good understanding of other web frameworks like Angular and Vue.js
5. A good eye for detail, design, and User Experience (UX)

Compensation varies with experience and qualifications. This job is a full-time remote / work from home position.
