About the job

This position is needed to help Twilio develop and maintain our web and mobile Apps and SDKs, used by thousands of customers worldwide. You will collaborate with the team members to successfully deliver our new generation of products, applying best engineering practices. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with multiple R&D and product teams, crafting together software that developers around the world will leverage to deliver new applications. 
  • Own the design and implementation of Web Apps and SDKs, tackling some of the most complex and exciting technical problems in the industry.
  • Enable millions of consumers to do secure and frictionless signup and sign-in every day using the services from the global brands they trust.
  • Share your technical expertise with other specialists and lead them through an accelerated learning process.
  • Support production operations, building, releasing and assisting with team on-call
  • Continuously adapt to the evolving ecosystems to maximize engineering efficiency, through adopting latest technologies, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing automated tests

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience writing production level web applications and/or customer facing web SDKs 
  • Strong experience in Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience in Web Components, React/JSX, Vue, Angular, or equivalent UI frameworks
  • Experience in browser APIs and optimizing frontend performance
  • Experience in automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, and able to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders in English
  • A healthy ability to manage and resolve conflict - you have the ability to listen, present, and question effectively
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience

Desired:

  • Experience developing for other developers
  • Experience in test-driven development
  • Familiarity with 2FA authentication model
  • Experience in iOS development
 

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in Colombia.
