Software Engineer-Linux Kernel & Embedded Systems (Zynq SoC and Waveform Radio)

About the Role: We are looking for ahighly motivated Linux Embedded Software Engineerto join our team in San Diego, CA. This role involvesimplementing kernel & user space applications onto embedded devices. The role requiring expertise inLinux Kernel developmentand strongC/C++ programming skills. As acustomer-facingengineer, you will work on-premise at our client's facility, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential. Key Responsibilities: • Port and optimizesoftware libraries for embedded devices. • Work extensively with theLinux Kernel, including driver development and system-level debugging. • Develop and maintain code inC/C++, with scripting inBASH and Python. • Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve system-level performance issues in embedded environments. Requirements: • 5+ yearsof experience inembedded software development. • StrongLinux Kernel developmentexperience, including driver modifications and debugging. • Proficiency inC/C++ user-space applications, with scripting experience inBASH and Python. • Must beeligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in acustomer-facingrole. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment. • Required to work on premise in San Diego, CA. Preferred: • Prefer experience with Zynq SoC. • Prefer experience with waveform radio technology.
