Software Engineer Manager

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:• Support a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring the successful delivery of software projects.• Assist in the professional growth and mentorship of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and career development planning.• Contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy, participating in strategic discussions and technology assessments.• Manage project tasks and assignments, helping to prioritize and plan work to meet project goals.• Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure efficient project execution.• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, working to resolve issues as they arise.• Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years PTC Kepware experience
• 3-5 years experience with automated controls in a large Manufacturing environment 3-5 yrs supporting IT in a large Manufacturing company
• Excellent written and Oral communication skills

Work Environment

• Ability to travel 30-60% of time to in-scope facilities

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $94,600 - $175,700.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
