Software Engineer (Multiple Levels)

The Khoros engagement platform comprises Online Community, Social Media Management and Messaging products for digital customer service, digital support and social media marketing teams to listen, respond and act on customer conversations – creating deep relationships and fostering brand loyalty and advocacy.

We’re looking to add multiple engineers (Software Engineer I, II and III)  to our engineering team. These roles will be responsible for building and maintaining SaaS applications in the digital media space. You will work in cross-functional teams and love delivering value to our customers through shipping code.

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating with the team making sure deliverables are delivered on time with high quality.
• Developing and testing high quality code to implement features including writing both unit and integration tests

• Performing code reviews and improving code quality by applying solid design principles

• This role will primarily be focused on customer retention involving resolving known product and platform issues in a full stack role

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with Java programming language including object oriented design
• Experience with front end tech including: HTML, Javascript/TS, CSS, ReactJS
• Experience building scalable infrastructure, REST API interfaces and distributed systems
• Additional requirements by role: 

Software Engineer III

• 4-6 years of professional experience with the above technologies

Software Engineer II

• 2-4 years of professional experience with the above technologies

Software Engineer I

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related experience

Nice To Haves:

• Open Source tech such as: Elastic search, Redis, MySQL
• Experience with AWS technologies (EC2, DynamoDB) or equivalent 
• Someone who understands git, pull requests
• Autonomous teams building interrelated microservices
• Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
  

This is a United States-based, remote position; however, at this time we are not able to consider candidates living in the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.

The base salary for the roles will range from $70,000- $115,000 with a 5-10% Bonus based. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
