Mission and Responsibilities
Our mission is to maintain and evolve a reliable and observable service that determines and presents targeted subscription offers to users, while also maintaining a healthy infrastructure required for their efficient support and management to be used by Growth Mission initiatives.
As a software engineer on the Offer Targeting Squad, you will report to the Engineering Manager and help us evolve our offer targeting and infrastructure to a more scalable, maintainable, and performant architecture through collaboration with partners. You will also need to have proficient collaboration skills, as you will work with a lot of different user experiences and partners. This job is based in our NYC headquarters.
- You will Participate in Agile Scrum activities like Product backlog grooming, Sprint planning, daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Retrospectives
- You will Confer with data analysts, engineers, and product managers to obtain information on project capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
- You will Lead the development and creation of features from technical design through completion
- You will Write high-quality, reusable code with best practices and design patterns in mind
- You will Participate in on call rotation
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a software engineer
- 2+ years of experience in Golang
- 1+ years of Experience with SQL (BigQuery)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client, NodeJS, TypeScript, GCP, AWS
- Troubleshoot complex systems using tools such as DataDog, or similar
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners/collaborator with external partners
- Collaborated with product managers and data specialists as part of the development process
- Experience working with large amounts of data

The annual base pay range for this role is between:
$104,000—$130,000 USD
