Software Engineer, Pegasus (Experienced Hire)

Responsible for designing and developing leading edge EDA physical verification products at advanced nodes. Performs as individual contributor on software development projects involving software design, implementation, validation, maintenance and documentation. Exercises independent judgment in developing software techniques, solution, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. The position requires MSCS, or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 yrs of industry experience in developing large-scale C/C++ based EDA software with strong problem solving skills. Excellent programming skill in C/C++ is required. Knowledge and experience with python is a plus. Must have good communication skills to work with geographically distributed teams. Familiarity with the foundry qualification of EDA physical verification tool is preferred, but not required.
