Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects within the NCR Global SRE Enablement Team to ensure deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations while ensuring the realization of benefits within the time, cost, and quality constraints. The role will be accountable to drive the projects utilizing standardized software development lifecycle processes including Kanban and Agile. This role will require strong communication and project management skills. The role will report to the lead of Global SRE Enablement Team.

Key Areas of Responsibility include:

The Project Manager will manage a diverse set of projects simultaneously, to include:

  • Software technology projects for development and/or implementation of software applications,
  • Internal business initiatives that involve cross-functional teams and content
  • Managing hardware/software deployments to internal development teams.
  • The candidate will work in a complex technical environment and business environment that is fast pace and involved in high growth.
  • Creates and tracks program and project plans, milestones, deliverables and status
  • Prepares project status reports as needed by different stakeholders and leads project status meetings
  • Maintaining continuous alignment of program or project scope with strategic business goals and applying your skills in leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, cross-cultural awareness, and conflict resolution.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in overall project/people management, with proven history of successful implementations
  • Self-Starter, proven ownership of problems and resolving them,
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Agile experience, and ability to lead cross functional project teams.
  • Coaching and developing team members as necessary to assure common understanding of the Scaled Agile, Software Development process and project goals.
  • Providing feedback and suggestions for the continuous improvement of the common and local team processes.
  • Participate in an agile development environment supporting tools and processes based on best practices
  • Must have experience in the following SW Tools:
    • Atlassian Jira Align
    • Atlassian Jira
    • Atlassian Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
