Software Engineer, Real World Journeys, Full-Stack, Feature Development

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++ or Java).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with back-end development.
• Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to support Japanese queries.

In this role, you will understand the Japanese user needs, work with local Product Managers (PM) and User Experience (UX), and build new compelling features to address those needs.

Responsibilities

• Figure out Japanese user needs and understand which features to build.
• Work closely with Program Manager and UX, and across the stack from data collection, serving, and UI to build new features.
• Test the usefulness of new features by running live experiments, offline evaluations, analyzing results, feature engineering, and creativity.
