Software Engineer (Remote)

POSITION OVERVIEW
As Front End Software Engineer, you will work closely with our product team to build and enhance applications within the real estate market. Our software stack includes React, React Native, WordPress, Java/Spring/Hibernate, Solr, and SQL Server. We are looking for engineers with 3+ years of development experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides technical leadership in development of software
• Collaborates on and makes proposals on engineering work, and helps team members make informed decisions in alignment with strategic plans
• Provides technical consultation throughout the company
• Teaches, mentors, and provides advice to software engineers, as well as others within the organization
• Initiates broad new development projects; looks for innovation opportunities with a willingness to experiment and to boldly confront problems of large complexity and scope
• Guides conversations to remove roadblocks and encourage collaboration across teams
• Provides a point of escalation on complex technical challenges
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of development experience required
• 3+ years of database experience writing SQL queries required
• 3+ years of experience with REST APIs required
• 2+ years of React experience required
• 1+ years of Git or Subversion experience required
• SQL Server experience preferred
• Spring and Hibernate experience preferred
• Mobile App development (React Native) experience preferred
• Understanding of Redux preferred
• Solr and WordPress experience preferred
• Design Patterns experience preferred
• OAuth and SSO experience preferred
• Maven, Jenkins, Unit Tests and Integration Tests experience preferred

This position is based remotely with a salary of $75,000 - $90,000. Occasional meetings may be required in Denver headquarters.
