The .NET Software Engineer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components. This team member works in an Agile software development team environment to deliver working software with built-in quality. This team member mentors other engineers on the team and participates in code reviews. This resourceful individual works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience with C#, .NET and OOP
- Experience with front-end development in WPF/XAML, HTML/CSS, Angular, ASP .NET, MVC or similar
- Experience working with a database (e.g., SQL Server, NoSQL or DynamoDB)
- Experience developing IIS web services and APIs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing containerized cloud applications for AWS or Azure
- Experience developing SOA applications

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, quality assurance specialists, system engineers and product owners in solving new and existing technical issues
- Understand requirements, implement designs, provide administration tools and write documentation for specific projects
- Develop in a C# environment, developing web applications, WCF, APIs and web services
- Develop in TypeScript/JavaScript and Angular to build high-performing websites
- Fully test all developed code with unit tests, integration tests, automated UI tests and manual tests as needed
- Perform regular on-call duties
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Follow and enhance existing development processes
- Measure and verify that new and legacy code has acceptable performance and scalability
- Maintain ownership of the projects assigned
- Consistently meet project deadlines
- Mentor other engineers
