ASRC Federal Professional Services is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for Army C5ISR mission-critical systems.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer tosupport an Army program management office at the Pentagon, Arlington VA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Expert experience in design, architecture, development, implementation, and documentation accomplishment for SE, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for tactical radio systems.
- Participate in the coordination of the SE integrated product team and other technical forums at the PEO, PM and product office levels.
- Maintain the evolving AMCS architecture.
- Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes.
- Apply expert technical knowledge in software architecture and capabilities in support of transformation of the Army initiatives and the fielding of digitized information infrastructures to the active and reserve components, including:
- analysis of user requirements
- preparation of plans and associated documentation
- conducting test and demonstration events
- multi-organization coordination
- performing risk assessments
- executing similar activities relevant to SE and integration
- Define and analyze detailed requirements.
- conduct software design and coding, conduct testing, validation and verification.
- Provide software cost estimation, risk analysis and life cycle analysis for new software application development.
- Provide sustaining engineering for all operational radios to include but not limited to maintenance builds for flight support, COTS upgrades, technology upgrades, etc.
- Support soft testing and integration efforts and provide subject matter expertise on software quality, IPT review test and development, etc.
- Knowledge and experience is preferred for, but not limited to, the following: TSM, WREN-TSM, WREN-NB, MUOS, Link 16, and SINCGARS. Support the review, planning, procedures, and reports of FAT, Performance AT, FQT, SVT, CDT, etc.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in one (1) of the following: Engineering or Computer Science
- Work Related Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience working in software architecture and integration processes.
- Credentials: DAWIA (Practitioner) or equivalent certification in Engineering and Technical Management, preferred but not required.
- DoD Security Clearance: SECRET
