About the role

We have already proven SEO as a channel that works for us. We are hiring a Software Engineer with significant experience in SEO. We are now looking to double down on this through a mixture of programmatic SEO content marketing and other SEO strategies. Each new foundational AI model unlocks a new set of pages/products that we can build and SEO growth that we can drive. We are looking for someone at the intersection of software engineering and SEO who is excited about the hands-on engineering to drive SEO (including building programmatic pages) and working with Sam Sklar (Growth Marketer) to direct our SEO-focused content production. There is scope for you to be the lead for SEO at ElevenLabs.

Our technology stack is Next.js (React Typescript) with a Python backend (FastAPI).

Some examples of what you might do:

• Build programmatic pages recently unlocked by a new AI model we have developed. For example https://elevenlabs.io/languages .

• Work closely with our Growth Marketer to map out the SEO-focused content we should be producing for the buying stages of each of our user personas.

• Create and lead our SEO strategy.

• Design and implement a more engaging blog template to improve the time on-page.

What you bring

We do not require any formal experience certifications or degrees. Instead we are seeking enthusiastic Software Engineers who can showcase solving impressively hard problems with artifacts such as past projects designs or GitHub contributions. We do require:

• Strong frontend engineering skills (react typescript) and backend engineering skills (python ideally but others are fine too)

• Strong SEO Experience ideating and executing SEO initiatives including programmatic SEO content marketing and keyword research

• (Bonus) Design skills
