Position: Sr. Software Engineer

Job Duties:

1. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs for Insight.
2. Leverage the latest DevOps and Cloud automation tools such as Hashicorp Terraform, ARM Template, Cloud Formation, Powershell, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub Actions to deploy cloud solutions for enterprise clients
3. Become a full-stack Hashicorp and automation focused Cloud Architect
4. Work on teams that design, plan and implement cloud solutions for enterprise customers in a major public cloud provider: Azure, GCP, & AWS
5. Work on teams that design, plan and implement container platform-based solutions in a Kubernetes platform
6. Work on large-scale app modernization projects through application rationalization and modernization processes
7. Work on client projects that encompass systems architecture, proof-of-concept and technical deployment services
8. Integrate emerging technologies into offerings to provide sales teams additional opportunities to approach customers with new ideas/engagement.
9. Collaborate with Practice leadership and thought leaders on pre-sales engagements, solution designs and proposals
10. Assist with development of new offerings within frameworks for emerging cloud technologies
11. Become a partner, subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to clients, advising on best-fit technologies and best practices

Salary: Available upon request

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or closely related. Employer accepts foreign equivalent in the same.

Experience Requirements: 5 years in job offered, DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Engineer (.NET Developer), or closely related.

Special skills requirements:

1. Experience in building and operating large highly reliable and scalable distributed systems
2. Experience working with repository tools and well versed with branching strategies and hands on with commands like; Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, Azure repository, git branching model, git commands
3. Experience working with Cloud technologies with cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenShift
4. Experience working with cloud configuration tools such as; chef, puppet, ansible
5. Experience configuring sensitive data in cloud utilizing Azure key vault, AWS KMS, and HashiCorp vault
6. Experience with coding continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines utilizing Jenkins, UDeploy, Azure build/release pipeline, and AWS code build/deploy
7. Experience working with Python, shell scripts, Docker, Kubernetes, helm charts, and Infrastructure as code
8. .Net applications (C#, ASP.Net, VB,), Web-based programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
9. Hands-on working experience in MYSQL, SQL Server and Oracle back-end databases
10. Experience in front-end technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular
