Job Title: Sr. Staff Software Engineer
Job Duties: Move, Inc. (operator of Realtor.com) in Santa Clara, CA is seeking experienced Sr. Staff Software Engineers to design, develop, deliver, and maintain features and applications that enable real estate decisions for professionals.
Job responsibilities and duties include:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders - including Product Owners regarding user stories, acceptance criteria, the definition of done, and other program-related decisions.
• Develop solutions that are of high quality, scalable, cloud-based, reliable, and reusable.
• Optimize our developer toolchain to support instant provisioning of new services and infrastructure, fully automate deployment, and minimize development friction.
• Design and operationalize data pipelines using advanced data architectures deployed on Amazon Web Services.
• Develop complex software systems using modern frameworks, tools.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team to plan and execute at high velocity, and across teams throughout the organization to reuse existing components and architect shared functionality Investigate and prototype technologies that can be leveraged to introduce new innovations in meeting business and customer goals.

This position has no direct reports and does not supervise any other employees.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or any related IT field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer or in any related position(s) involving software development or software engineering. Employer will accept a foreign degree.
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

1. Experience developing software in two or more of the following programming languages: ReactJS, NextJS, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, or Dart.
2. RDBMS - MySQL or PostgreSQL.
3. Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives to improve the quality and timeliness of deliverables with high predictability.
4. Demonstrated experience in cloud-based architectures, development, and deployment.
5. Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies such as AWS.

No travel required. Work from Home (WFH) benefit available; must be able to work in office 3 days per week.
