Software Engineer - Summer 2023 Intern

Toyota Connected looks for Software Engineering Interns that will solve complex problems and work alongside talented Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Technical Product Owners, who have a passion for driving innovation in mobility, safety, and convenience services. We love people who think big and like to get their hands dirty to help build exciting initiatives.

What will you be doing?

We don’t need our interns to get coffee (we can get our own)! Instead, our interns get experience working with real-world applications for data across different IoT platforms. As part of the 12-week summer program, you’ll work on projects, using the latest technology, to create products and services that will be used by tens of millions of drivers all over the world.

You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced Agile Scrum environment and learn skills in Software Engineering and DevOps including CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, Web APIs, and Webservices.

You are a successful candidate if you:

• Have the ability to code in Java
• Have internships or academic work in Software Engineering
• Have an interest in learning new technologies related to connected vehicles
• Exhibit integrity and high standards in work quality
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Value diversity and differences amongst individuals in interactions
• Are scheduled to graduate in the Fall/Winter 2023 or Spring 2024
