Software Engineer - Systems Integration

The Role:

Works to automate education and enablement processes through system integrations, including the Learning Management System, Manual Delivery System (Mimeo), Lab Provisioning System (Skytap), Salesforce, and other systems as needed. This senior resource is the lead integration or full-stack developer within the team. This person works unassisted in this development while collaborating with other technical team members. 

What You’ll Do:

• Work with the larger BeyondTrust University Team to scope out new integration opportunities
• Drive the initiatives of building, maintaining, and implementing integrations across the various education and enablement systems
• Write clean, scalable, DRY code using Node.JS, and Angular.
• Work with RESTful APIs
• Maintain, update, refactor, and debug codebase

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years related professional experience
• Able to suggest and provide improvements to the processes.
• A passion for writing excellent code
• Strong understanding of RESTFUL API design and different API standards
• Experience with Angular, NodeJs, Postgres SQL, and MOCHA
• Experience with HEORKU deployments
• Experience with relational databases
• Strong desire to learn new skills and technologies
• Passionate about working with a small close-knit team

Nice To Have:

• Cyber Security and/or networking background
• Working knowledge of MS Windows & Linux environments
