Job Description
Each local government independently designs, administers, and collects what, in aggregate, is the largest single source of revenue for American local governments – property taxes. The result is a patchwork of more than 20,000 unique property tax regimes — a regulatory and compliance nightmare for institutional real estate operators and enterprises with large real estate footprints.
The enterprise team builds products that help institutional and enterprise customers manage their property taxes. As a member of the enterprise team, you’ll help build our property tax data product and property tax payments product.
Role Responsibilities:- Create tools to improve our property data collection processes
- Improve performance and accuracy of our existing data products
- Work with cross-functional teams to better understand internal and external user issues and contribute to product roadmap
- Independently own and drive all phases of software development including ideation, prototyping, design and production for assigned work streams
- Have experience in taking products from conception to execution and are excited about doing so again
- Enjoy and have experience building full stack applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Python
- Ability to collaborate with your team in a fast-paced environment
- Thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment and are excited to create new things
- Background or experience working on data products and API-driven applications
- Previous startup experience
Remote roles in the US are available in all states EXCEPT Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, or any US Territories.
For CO Residents Only, and in accordance with C.R.S. Sec. 8-5-101 et seq., the estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $155,000 per year. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. For New York City Residents Only, and in accordance with the New York City Human Rights Law (Administrative Code of City of NY §8-107), the estimated base salary range for this role is $137,000 - $212,000 per year. This range represents the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
