Software Engineer, Trading Applications (Mid/Senior)

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science and deep foundational knowledge in low level computing
• You have 6+ years of experience designing and implementing high availability applications where you have contributed highly optimized Python and C++ code to projects
• You have the battle scars of an engineer that has designed and delivered applications service oriented architectures. You fought to balance robustness, scalability, data throughput, and latency concerns and won.
• You are comfortable deploying your code in public cloud environments and have specific tooling experience with Docker
• You are passionate about exploring new technologies and have proven you know how to incorporate these finds into existing stacks.
• You live to move fast and release, developing with pace and velocity

•  Know how to administer Linux systems
• Are familiar with developing linear trading models and portfolio optimizers
• Have experience with developing market data handlers and OMS with FIX, Itch and Ouch protocols in C++
• Have experience with developing backtesting engine with add-remove-modify market data

The Base Salary Range for this role is $100,000 - $200,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.

We are requiring new employees to be in the office 4 days per week.
