The Role

We seek a talented Software Engineer with JavaScript experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing high-quality software in a cloud-native environment. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions using Java and JavaScript technologies. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.

Youโ€™ll be expected to be resourceful, a selfless team player, and regularly go above and beyond your โ€œday jobโ€. The upside is that this is a highly visible role with unbound growth opportunities.

This role is based out of our Palo Alto, CA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, scalable software solutions using Java and JavaScript in a cloud-native environment.
  • Participate in the design, development, and testing of software solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior developers to implement software design patterns and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
  • Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and share knowledge with the team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development using JavaScript
  • Must have experience with CSS, Webpack & Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with software design patterns and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for software development and desire to continuously improve skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, React, and Node.js a plus.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Terraform.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
