Software Engineer Virginia

This is a full-time position, and MUST have a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer in order to support its government customer based in Chantilly, Virginia.

The Candidate team shall possess and provide the following required skills and demonstrated experience. Each resource shall possess all/most of the requirements below to ensure for a high-performing team:

• Demonstrated experience in technical project management with full lifecycle software development.
• Demonstrated experience estimating and managing software development schedules and deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing detailed software design and associated deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience in translating customer and system requirements into design.
• Demonstrated experience designing new system interfaces.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating, supporting, and participating in program meetings and reviews.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing Single Page Applications using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, and Angular 2+.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing RESTful web services using Java 8+, Spring Framework 4+, and Spring Security 4+.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience working with non-relational database systems such as DynamoDB (other on-the-job database experience accepted).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with and troubleshooting of Internet/Web related protocols and technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, and SSL).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing JUnit and Jasmine tests and experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Nexus.

Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience

Skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

• Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining systems that utilize websockets.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing user interfaces using Angular Material.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, Lean Agile environment.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience doing rapid prototyping and application development with significant user interaction.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing using AngularJS, Bootstrap, and JQuery.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g. Shell, Perl, and Python) and/or ability to automate routine operations through scripts or tool sets.
• Demonstrated experience with Sponsor IT systems, missions, and strategies.
• Demonstrated experience communicating with senior customers, senior management, and implementation partners.
• Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining JIRA tickets.

• Demonstrated experience with AWS and Azure.

Software Engineering Lead

(U) The Contractor shall provide a Software Engineering Lead who serves as a POC to the Sponsor regarding oversight of all full-stack software development across Sponsor platforms and applications currently deployed to production within the scope of this SOW.
