Software Engineering Advisor

This is a temporary role through Magnit Global with one of the world's leading health insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Engineering assignments/projects.
• Designs and develops a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which stores all critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and Benefits data.
• Designs, develops and implements methods, processes, tools and analyses to sift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns.
• Participates in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via an analytics and reporting.
• Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
• Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Information Management but works on broader projects, which require an understanding of wider business.
• Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years AWS, AWS Lambda and step functions, EKS, CLI, Helmchart, Cloudwatch. Knowledge of Rest Web Services, Micro Services and CI/CD.
• Ability to work in SCRUM-based Agile teams and practice Agile methodologies and ceremonies. Technical Skills 5+ years experience.
• Must demonstrate strong skills in communication, problem-solving, collaboration, leadership and project management.

Location and Schedule Notes:

• 100% onsite in Austin, TX. CST schedule.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, and expectation):

• The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $57.62/hour-$76.83/hour
