Software Engineering Advisor

This is a temporary role through Magnit Global with one of the world's leading health insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Engineering assignments/projects.
• Designs and develops a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which store all critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and Benefits data.
• Designs, develops and implements methods, processes, tools and analyses to sift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns.
• Participates in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via an analytics and reporting.
• Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
• Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
• Focuses on providing thought leadership within Information Management but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
• Defining standards and best practices around Azure services
• Defining policies to control azure resource creation in lower environments
• Setting up performance logs on azure services
• Proactively monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues in lakehouse and supporting services
• Collaborating with development, support and strategy teams in road mapping sessions
• Working on making the azure services resilient
• Implementing DR around azure services
• Optimizing ADF workflows

Requirements:

• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Azure: 6+ years (Preferred), Total IT Experience: 12 + Years
• Azure Databricks
• ADLS Gen2
• Azure Synapse
• Role based access control (RBAC), Azure Active Directory
• Azure data factory
• Disaster Recovery
• Azure Cost Management
• Azure Key vault
• Azure Site Recovery
• Proficiency with scripting protocols such as PowerShell , Azure CLI's, ARM templates.
• Experience with all types of IT projects including migrating on-prem infrastructure to Azure -Environments (including IaaS and PaaS) and the associated storage, network and security considerations.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

• The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $46.00/hour-$61.00/hour
