Software Engineering Intern

Modivcare is looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic IT Intern to support the Software Engineering team with lifecycle development of software applications. You will engage in mentorship and networking opportunities with leaders across the organization, and you will obtain experience and insight into our Software Engineering operations.

You will report to the Manager of Software Engineering. The duration of this internship is approximately 8-12 weeks and is flexible to start in Spring 2023 or Summer 2023.

• Support the Software Engineering Team with day-to-day operations
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and business partners
• Engage in elements of the Scrum process
• Design and implement software
• Engage in the code review process
• Perform unit testing
• Quality Assurance testing and support
• Release software to production
• Provide technical presentations
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree program
• Knowledge of at least one Object Oriented Programming language (e.g. C#, Java) or React/Angular
• Require minimum of 3.0 major GPA
• Willingness to tackle new projects and provide feedback

$20 - $25 / Hourly
