This intern position will work on the Intel Central Compute platform for connected car focusing on:

• Adding to an Android ARM android native applications reference stack using Intel Bridge technologies
• Adding to gaming libraries helping identify HW/SW platform issues
• Porting a reference stack from Car to cloud to analyze and better understand better requirements on our platform concerning car-to-cloud use cases

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The candidate must be an active student, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• 3+ months of experience in the following:
  • Coding using C/C++
  • X86 Computer Architecture
  • Linux kernel and user space

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Services
• Scripting with Python
• Bootloader/Driver development experience
• Concepts related to hypervisors
