Modivcare is looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic IT Intern to support the Software Engineering team with lifecycle development of software applications. You will engage in mentorship and networking opportunities with leaders across the organization, and you will obtain experience and insight into our Software Engineering operations.
You will report to the Director of App Development. The duration of this internship is approximately 10 weeks and will start in Summer 2023.
You will...

• Take assigned projects and work with business owners, product, and IT staff to develop the software product
• Work with product owners, scrum master and management to develop software
• Document the functional and design specifications of the software to ensure the product meets the users' needs
• Develop mobile and web-based business applications
• Develop web-based, AWS services, and RESTful services
• Work as a cross-functional Delivery Team, using Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban
• Test your work using unit and integration tests, and partner with the Quality Assurance group to support manual, automated, and performance testing
• Perform code reviews and follow the defined CI/CD, SDLC and change management process.
• Support the Corporate Software Engineering team with day-to-day operations

We are excited to speak to someone with the following...

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree program
• Knowledge of at least one Object Oriented Programming language preferably Python
• Willingness to learn, tackle new projects, and develop skills along the way
• Open to feedback and investing in your own continuous improvement

• Proven leadership history in a club or organization

Pay Range: $20-$25/hourly
