Department Overview

We are a global group with locations in North America and Europe. Our team is responsible for designing, developing and testing components of mission-critical communication solutions and services.
Our team consists of experienced professionals always looking for new ways of doing things and introducing techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility in the face of unpredictable circumstances. That includes technologies and practices. We are looking for self motivated, innovative individuals to help drive the next generation public safety experience.
Job Description

We work in Scrum methodology. You will be responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, and integrating software to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of elements of the telecommunication infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing one or several Summer Internship Projects.

Preferred Skills:

• C, C++, Java, JavaScript
• Microsoft Azure or AWS development environments
• Knowledge of Network Protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, UDP)

Additional Qualified Skills

• Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing 

• Practical knowledge of using a version control system like GIT

• Basic knowledge of telecommunications technologies

• Experience with automation environments (eg. Jenkins)

• Knowledge of Elastic Search/Kibana

• Knowledge of Perl / Powershell, Python

Basic Requirements

• Candidate must be pursuing at least a Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related engineering degree

• Candidate must be graduating December 2023 or later 

• Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students)
