As a Software Engineering Lead, one will be trusted to lead our team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in multiple programming languages, web development frameworks, databases, and cloud platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the development team in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
• Design software applications, including architecture, user interface, and features.
• Develop software applications using multiple programming languages and web development frameworks.
• Manage the project, including setting deadlines and coordinating with other teams as necessary.
• Ensure that the software application is thoroughly tested and debugged before it is released.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise with the software application.
• Keep up with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure that the software application is using the most up-to-date and effective tools.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including clients and upper management, to ensure that they are aware of the project's progress and any issues that arise.
• Ensure that the software application is secure and protected from potential security breaches.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Work closely with product manager to release features and additions.
• Experience working in an Agile team and actively participate in scrums.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or PHP
• Knowledge of popular web development frameworks such as Angular, React
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and associated services like S3, RDS, or Cloud Functions
• Experience with server-side technologies Node.js to build APIs and integrate them with front-end applications
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop and maintain responsive user interfaces and implement client-side logic
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail
• Aptitude in excellent critical thinking / problem solving
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes and containerization
• Experience working in an Agile team and actively participate in scrums.
