Software Engineering Lead- Edge Computing

About You:

• 4-5+ years of relevant experience 
• You enjoy being hands on in a leadership role
• You like to tackle problems and learn in the process
• You like working in an interdisciplinary and diverse team

What skills do I need?

• We don't require experience with any specific technologies, but we currently use NodeJS, Elixir, Rust, Golang, Electron, MongoDB, Postgres
• Ability to mentor and lead engineers from a variety of backgrounds
• Ability to prioritize and shift focus based on business needs 
  
• Bonus: Prior fullstack development experience on resource-constrained embedded hardware (eg, Edge Devices)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a a team of software engineers who deliver software for the Edge (devices, Electron applications) and the Cloud (configuration and management)
• Work with Product Management to create and manage roadmaps for releases and updates
• Manage products through all stages of SDLC
• Manage a team through Agile processes and procedures
• Provide technical design insight across the software stack
• Work with other engineering leadership to align on priorities
