The Role 

We’re seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Leader to take charge of the Customer Master Data (CMD) product in the Customer Engagement Domain. As a key player in shaping IKEA’s digital future, you’ll lead engineering efforts to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-centric solutions that enable seamless, personalized IKEA experiences globally. 

What You’ll Do 

• Own engineering for the CMD product, aligning across teams and domains. 

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to co-create and execute a forward-looking technical roadmap. 

• Champion best practices in code quality, scalability, and security while ensuring simplicity and sustainability. 

• Mentor and inspire engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges to ensure smooth product delivery and performance. 

• Represent IKEA’s technical leadership and commitment to meaningful customer solutions internally and externally. 

What You Bring 

• 10+ years in software development, with expertise in solution architecture and agile practices. 

• 3+ years of cloud experience (preferably Azure). 

• Proficiency in technologies like Node.js, .NET, Python, C#, Java, Databricks, SPARQL, and APIs. 

• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and engage diverse stakeholders. 

• Passion for innovation and building digital products that put the customer first.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) based in Malmö, Sweden. You’ll report to the Product Manager for the Customer Engagement Domain.
